Company Profile                 

Beauty and the Beast was first established by Dr. David Kenney from the Animal Medical Hospital. Jamie first came to Beauty and the Beast in Feb of 1992 after working in various shops all over the San Diego county under AKC breeders/dog show handlers and accomplished groomers for six years.

It's been Jamie's pleasure to serve such a wonderful community and feels her clients are like her extended family. She gained so much from Dr Kenney, Miriam Machell and the hospital staff. Jamie furthers her education by reading up on the latest pet care literature, attending seminars and trade shows hosted by experts at least bi-annually, and investing in the best equipment and products to better serve you.

 

 

 

 

 

Jamie Nihart has over 30 years of Pet Care experience. She was a veterinary assistant for over 5 years. She graduated Classy Canine Grooming School in 1987 and has been Grooming peoples "Fuzzy Kids" ever since. Due to her years of handling experience and continuing education, Jamie is miraculous with difficult, abused and elderly pets. She often cares for and grooms dogs and cats that other groomers refuse to do. After working as a vet. assistant, Jamie can't imagine turning away an animal in need. She believes it's very important to gain your pet's trust by connecting with them in a positive way and treat them with respect and they seem to respect her as well. Jamie is truly a Pet Care Specialist!
